P.A.R.I.S. La nuit en marche
A downloadable game for Windows
P.A.R.I.S. La Nuit en Marche is a project that explores the violence experienced by generations of students in the student district of the capital of France. This release is a prototype / demo.
This is a prototype realised for the #HPS1Jam. I wanted to experiment with the ps1 horror game atmosphere, a graphical style works well with terror, magical realism, and slow-paced experiences. During this jam I worked mainly on the scripts, the interactions, the pacing of the game, the textures and the pixelated filter.
The project started as a student project, where I mainly worked with Probuilder and Unity’s FPS controller to create the game space.
Made with Unity using Unity’s FPS controller, probuilder and progrid.
I used the movie “Censier en grève -1986” made by the film studies students from Paris 3 (https://academia.hypotheses.org/8840) and the music video for Kate Bush’s “Sat in Your Lap” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4csr6pLZLg).
Textures from texture.com.

I think a nice addition might be if, when the documentary is showing the police using tear gas, etc. there were some similar effects in the scene around the player (flashes, smoke, etc.)
Hello ! Thank you very much for your feedback ! I'll think about it when I work again on this project ! :D
Interesting experience. I imagine it would be more meaningful to me if I could understand French, but it was a well done environment, and I like how you composed the two videos. It was a very striking effect.
Thank you ! If I keep working on the game I'll think about a way to make it accessible !

LOLAttempting to launch the game, an error saying "The code execution cannot proceed because UnityPlayer.dll was not found." appears. I think to distribute Unity games to others you have to upload a .zip of all the game files instead of the .exe
😱 Thankkkkkssss
edit: It should be fixed now ! Sorry for the error!
